TIPS ON HOW TO NAVIGATE IN THE SITE

TO VIEW UPCOMING AUCTIONS BY SHERIFF

From the home page select Sheriff Auctions as per the below illustration.

To the left of the map under Advanced Property Search there is Properties by Sheriff.  Then select the Province in which the sheriff is situated, then below that you will select the sheriff’s office of which you want to view the auctions.  Then select go (illustration below).

TO VIEW UPCOMING AUCTIONS BY THE PROPERTY SUBURB

From the home page select Sheriff Auctions as per the below illustration.

Province Select - You then have the option to either click on the province on the map or on the listed provinces on the right side of the page.

City Select – As with the province select, you then have the option to either click on the city on the map or on the listed cities on the right side of the page.

Suburb Select – As per below illustration you can select the suburb/s which you wish to view by checking the boxes required.

Property Select – Once the suburbs have been selected you can have a summarised view of the property, or select View Property for more details.  At the same time on this page you can select which properties you would like to print.

MY AUCTIONS

The facility is available for you to create your own list of auctions.  To do this you select My Auctions – Add once you have selected the suburbs you are interested in viewing.  This way you can add as many properties as you wish.  You can view your “My Auctions” list at any time by selecting the “My Auctions” link on the top right of the page (see illustration).  You can remove items from the list by selecting My Auctions – Delete.  The select to print option is available on “My Auctions”.

Advanced Search – This can be accessed in two ways.  The first option is to select the Show Search Options on the page above the property list.  Various criteria can be selected to refine your search.  The other option is to select the Advanced Property Search under the Tools heading to the left of the page.

LOCATE A SHERIFF

To locate a sheriff, you simply select the Locate a Sheriff link which is situated to the left of the page.  The complete list of sheriffs will be displayed.  The search can be refined by selecting criteria provided in the Find a Sheriff section.

The Contact Us page has been designed to simplify your query process.  Contact telephone numbers are listed on the page, or you can choose to communicate via e-mail.  The page has links from the different options available under Nature of message; the message will be sent on the correct person dealing with that aspect of the business.
